You can leave your remote terminal(s) running and connected while you update the base terminal. If you have anti-virus software running, you may need to verify that the WineryPOS application is still being allowed through the anti-virus firewall. If your remote terminal does not automatically pull the update from the base terminal, and goes into Temporary Sales mode on start-up, just check for updates on the remote terminal while in Temporary Sales mode.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Updates in this version - mostly small adjustments:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>1) Added logic to handle poor wireless networks that are constantly going up and down<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>1a) Added logic to detect duplicate transactions - this can happen if the wireless connection goes down and the base terminal has recorded the transactions, but the ipad did not get the acknowledgement.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>1b) Added logic to ignore multiple fluctuations that could potentially affect which temporary sales the remote terminal thinks that it has.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>2) Adjust a number of dialogs to handle smaller (1024) screen sizes.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>3) Handle really long wine/item titles that can cause wrapping in pdf invoices.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>4) Allow cash payments when the total sale equals 0$<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>5) Allow licensee/lcbo/oop/export wine prices to be modified from the Update Sale dialog. This is to allow wineries to add sales into past months, where the wine price has changed.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>6) Allow credit/debit card buttons to be shown with the merchant terminal button when in semi-integrated mode (for cc sales using a different merchant terminal)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>6a) Note that there is a 'Pay By' menu under the Sales menu that always be used as well.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>6b) Added a 'Pay By' menu item to the iPad for consistency with the desktop app.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>7) Added the ability to manually adjust the bottle inventory for the current or historical months.
